Climbing Mt. Everest

I just recently finished building a model of Mt. Everest and a friend asked, "Is it to scale?"
"No," I said.
"It's to look at."

Guide Dogs Only

Why do shops have signs that say "guide dogs only"?  The dogs can't read and their owners are blind?
